The Collegiate Fighting Association (CFA) is a revolutionary new sports organization dedicated to advancing MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) within the College market. The CFA’s primary mission is to be the driving force in making MMA a College sport. With College Wrestling programs constantly being cancelled due to Title IX cutbacks, fans of Combat Sports in College are left neglected. College MMA will provide Fans a new form of entertainment, Athletes a new venue for competition, and Colleges a new source of revenue.
We hope to pave the way for MMA to beome a NCAA sport in the future. Until that time, the CFA will serve as the primary organization in charge of the promotion and administration of College MMA. We are currently launching a National League for Amateur College MMA events that will appeal to all fans of Collegiate and Combat Sports.
For the first time in history, the CFA’s College MMA League will give students the opportunity to compete in Amateur MMA Events in safe, sanctioned and regulated competition conducted nationally by the CFA. These events will be held in Collegiate markets while simultaneously being televised and streamed via the Web.
